What is Campus Commons Golf Course?
Campus Commons is a welcoming 9-hole golf course located in the heart of Sacramento. It’s the perfect place for new golfers, casual players, and anyone looking to enjoy a fun, relaxed round of golf in a beautiful setting.
I’ve Never Played Golf Before. Can I Still Visit?
Absolutely! We love helping new golfers discover the game. Whether it’s your first time or you’re still learning, Campus Commons is a great place to start. We offer beginner-friendly clinics, and a supportive environment.
What Should I Wear?
No need to stress about a strict dress code! We recommend comfortable, athletic-style clothing. Tennis shoes or golf shoes work great. If you have any questions about attire, feel free to call us.
Do I Need to Bring My Own Clubs?
Not at all! We have rental clubs available for adults and juniors, so you can hit the course without the upfront investment. Just let us know at check-in that you’ll need some clubs.
How Long Does It Take to Play 9 Holes?
A typical 9-hole round takes about 1:15 minutes, depending on your pace and group size. New golfers are welcome to take their time and enjoy the experience!
What Should I Expect on My First Visit?
– Check-In: Stop by the pro shop to check in and rent any equipment you might need.
– Warm-Up: Be sure and stretch, take a few practice swings.
– Enjoy the Round: Follow the course map, play and have fun!
Do You Offer Lessons or Clinics for Beginners?
Yes! We have group clinics, private lessons, and fun programs designed specifically for new golfers. Whether you want to sharpen your skills or just learn the basics, we’ve got you covered. Be sure and follow us on social media to stay up to date with the upcoming schedule.
How Do I Book a Tee Time?
You can book a tee time right here on our website 8 days in advance starting at 6am or by calling us at 916-287-8600. Walk-ins are also welcome, but booking ahead ensures your spot!
What if I Don’t Know the Rules of Golf?
No worries! Our staff and fellow golfers are happy to help. Golf is all about learning and having fun. We’ll share basic tips and etiquette to get you started.
What Else Does Campus Commons Offer?
We’re more than just a golf course! Join us for social events, live music, tournaments, and much more throughout the year.
Are golf carts available?
Yes, we have a limited amount of golf carts designed for our guests which may need a little extra help to play golf. See our policy below.
Campus Commons Golf Course Power Cart Rental Policy
– Cart reservations may be made by phone at the time a tee time is made, or after it has been made if online. There will be no option to reserve a cart during the online tee time reservation process.
– Other than a reservation, carts will be available on a first come-first served basis.
– The person renting the cart must be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
– The price of the rental will be $12 per seat for 9-holes.
